Hi! I've had my current pacemaker for more than a year, but since yesterday I've been feeling something weird in my chest. I woke up this morning with this heaviness and pulling sensation. This is a first for me, and I was wondering if this could represent a problem with one of my three leads. For those of you who have experienced dislodgement of leads, what did you feel?
Thanks!
Meredith

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!

I have the screw in kind and they said its VERY impossible for the to move or dislocate ANY ... If you have the old "hook" kind that may be an issue ....... I'm sure it's just your mind messing with you , if the lead was out your rate would be funky and you would know. I bought a BP machine for home just to check my rate once a day for my sanity. In sure your ok ...... I had the same kind of scariness to but you have to ignore the PM AND BE NORMAL :)
