Surprised no one has answered you. We've had others on the forum who have had PM swap outs and can give you good numbers. Since I just got my first one I can't really give you a good answer.

What I remember from previous posts is that you want to keep a low level of exercise for about a month or until the PM implant scar heals over. You don't have to worry about pulling leads as they usually just reuse the leads you had before. Since the leads are incorporated into the body you don't have to worry about pulling them.

You don't want to pull or stretch the implant scar until it's had a chance to heal. I'm thinking that takes about a month. You do want to keep moving so the scar is stretched a little as it is healing. But don't stretch the scar so much it starts to seep or bleed.

I found dry, cold, compresses to be the best for pain at the PM site. Tylenol worked best for me for pain. Although I've heard you may not have as much pain because of the PM pocket being established from the previous PM.

Hope everything goes well for you.
