I had my original pacemaker about 6 years ago when I 1st got it the lead came loose in Sept of 15 I got my 2nd P.M. and the day after I got it I know my DR did a chest xray to make sure all was OK I on occasion have lifted heavy stuff & also as of late have been having the heaviness in my chest worst then usual that it effects my walking it gets me so winded but now I went to a specialist & he seen the wire was loose again so he sent me to get a echo cardiogram & they confirmed the wire is loose again so now I have to go get surgery next week again to fix the problem has anyone else had issues ever with the leads

Tracey this is my 2nd pacemaker & like when I got the 1st 1 of them came loose now I am scheduled for surgery again Wednesday morn & I am nervous cause the procedure is a lot more dangerous even though I have 1 of the best DR's so that is a plus
You know you're wired when...
You name your daughter Synchronicity.

A six year old lead just now got loose?? (making sure I am understanding you correctly) Leads go bad, but it's highly unlikely they'd come loose after this much time. Or did you get a new lead when you had your replacement?
