I just had the wires in my pacemaker extracted & new ones put in but I have noticed that since the surgery & I have been home that near & at the bottom of some of the steri strips I am getting what appears to be blisters with fluid in them has this ever happened to anyone else or have you heard about this happening

Allergic?

Have your doctor take a look.
It's possible you are allergic to the steri strips (the adhesive)...I am. I didn't have fluid filled blisters but a red rash where each steri strip touched my skin.
Try putting a sterile gauze over the incision site if it is still needed. There are medical tapes for sensitive skin.
How did the extraction go?

Thanks for answering---this confirms what I have heard about Dr. Love on Sirrus/XM satellite radio which is broadcasted from NYU Langone . They sponsor two different cardiology programs every week. I have a stent and a pacemaker and have picked up very educational information from these programs. Wish you the very best!

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
