I may be nuts but I recently started to feel my pulse where the lead enters the vein near my clavicle. I can feel it when I lay still or put my finger on what feels almost like a plastic clamp right where the lead enters the vein. Is this normal? I've just never noticed it before. I find if I change arm positions it goes away. The area is a little irritated from being in a hard shell brace after back surgery. They fitted the brace with room for the PM but it shifts when I walk and rubs on the site. I guess I'm a little concerned that the hard brace rubbing on the lead may have caused a problem. I would think if there is a problem with a lead I would go below my minimum setting which I'm not. I've felt crappy lately with SOB, fatigue, and lots of palp's but I don't think they ever put me back to my original settings after surgery. The rep left before I went into surgery and I was too medicated by time I left the hospital to even ask if he ever came back. Based on how I feel I would say they never came back.
Any thoughts? Am I just nuts as usual?

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!

It's not likely the leads are damaged but since the brace is causing rubbing and you have mild symptoms, it can't hurt to have it checked out.
