What about Summer heat? I rode bicycle for 90 minutes in about 95 degree heat, humid weather. I have pacemaker for 18 days. Unless I had have damaged something with out knowing it, I felt OK. Is it safe to have sex? I did try it after about a week after implant, I tell you, my heart was pounding really hard. I am almost seventy, doing it twice a week now. Is there any harm? We all know that sex is good, but not worth dieing for.

Used to do it every day, so twice a week is way out moderation for me.
Cycling In Heat

I did cycle very soon after my implant but not in 95 degree heat. I'm 72.
I had the implant in late July of 2008 and didn't get back to 100 mile weeks until middle September.
Even today, 2 years later, I cycle early in the morning to beat the heat.

You can ride your bike for 90 minutes in 95 degree weather 18 days after your pacemaker, I'd say your OK for sex. Crank the AC a bit higher. ;)
Ask your Dr. to be on the safe side.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.

Too Much Sex might damage your Pacemaker or make it smoke or burn out your leads? :-)
They say everything should be in moderation including sex?
