this Sunay I am leaving town for the week. Going to a national bowling tournament in Las Vegas. Do we have any members from the great city of Vegas. If so it would be fun to meet you. With some inside info I could maybe get to see a side of Vegas I have never seen. I think it would also be nice to meet with others who also have pacers or ICD's that have an interest in this club. I will be there from Monday night thru Friday night. If you are interested in meeting up or going out to a dinner somewhere let me know. That is Thanksgiving week. Bowlrbob

I was thinking the same thing about another part of the US and I checked out the member list. I found a member not 10 miles from me!
This is what I did. Go to the member list and type in the location and it would be Las Vegas in the location. Then do a search. Play around with it with close locations to Vegas and it will help find some pacers. After you find them why not send them your message directly through the personal message? Wishing you lots of luck and that you have a fabulous time! A perfect score! 300!!!!

p.s. I found the directions on the right hand side of the screen under "latest news" Member search! ;-)

Hi Bowlrbob,
WE lived in Vegas from 1990-1994. Many huge changes since then but trying to find the out-of-the-way places is a great plan. While the strip and downtown are flashy and fun, if you hook up with someone who lives there you will get to see the "real Las Vegas". People living in Vegas are like the rest of the world for the most part: work, homes, families, friends, etc. In the past there were more churches per capita than any other state. With the exponential growth that may have changed. We seldom went to the strip or downtown unless we had company. The "locals" have their favorite casinos & restaurants they frequent - crowd avoidance! I do hope someone from the club will contact you. If you haven't been to Vegas before there are sites to see that have nothing to do with hotels, casinos and gambling! We have been really hot here in the SW so be prepared!!!! Good luck with your bowling tournament and any gambling you might do!
