Hi
I have had my PM 12 months, and last December they switched on the Overdrive Pacing to stop AF. Since then I have had no AF that I know of, and for the first 4 months I had no problems and would not know I had a PM. For the last 2 months when I exert myself I get a sensation in my chest that last no more than 2 seconds and is like an ache that goes towards my throat. I see my EP in a week. Has anybody any idea what this could be and how I should handle it with my EP.
Cheers
Roy

Had my PM checked today. All the techs did was to rise the upper limit to 150. This should help with exercise. My PM report will be passed onto a PM Doctor to see if he/she can help with the discomfort I feel since the PM was fitted. Other than that, I'll have to wait untill I get that 2nd opinion from another Hospital.

I had my PM fitted last October, since op I've had constant palps. Docs now say they don't know what it is. So I'm now going for a 2nd opinion. When I get discomfort I also feel it in my chest, centre sternum area, and it feels at times it goes to my throat. I've a PM check on Tuesday, so I'll ask questions along those lines and get back to you with what they say. Gary UK.
