Hi to all...what does 55 beats per minute means if i have a pacemaker since it was 60 beats during my fourteen years?

Are you saying your heart rate is usually 60 beats a minute but since you got a pacemaker your heart rate has dropped to 55beats a minute?
What is the reason that you got a pacemaker?
14 years is a loooong time

I don't know of any pacemakers that drop to 55 when it's time to change the battery. Let us know what they say when you get it checked. It may have went to a single chamber mode only, where it only paces the ventricles, which could potentially explain your symptoms

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
