I have a pacemaker for A-Fib and had my pacemaker interrogated recently. My highest rate was 640 BPM in the atrium and 119 in the ventricle. 640 seems terribly high. Is this "normal" for us???
Thank you for any opinions or advice. Hope you are all doing well.

A-Fib & V-Fib

I had a PM checkup a few months ago and mine had recorded several episodes of A-fib and those recordings show a maximum heart rate in the 380 to 400 range, so based on those numbers yours may have been high. However, I understand the length of time you are in A-fib has to be taken into consideration when deciding if it is a serious episode or not. My V-Fib numbers were in the 200 to 300 range, so they were higher than yours.
I think to find out if your A-fib and V-Fib is anything to be concerned about you need to talk to your Dr.
Good luck,
