Bathroom scales

I bought some new bathroom scales and noticed on the instructions that they are not to be used if you have a pacemaker. I asked why this is and was told that bathroom scales can only be used if you have pacemaker that measures weight only - - not body fat etc.

The hospital I work for draws annual labs and does weight and body fat measurements. I firmly informed them I could not get near that scale with a pm....or else. Some moments I love this little device

I meant that if you have a pacemaker fitted the bathroom scales you should use are those that tell you your weight only and nothing else.
