Feeling like Yourself

I had my PM installed 7/5. I have been to the Dr twice for tune ups. I am lightheaded and short of breath. I am starting to wonder if I am expecting too much to feel like myself again. Does anyone feel like thet don't have any issues from their PM?

Hi Ann you are not alone ,I had mine put in on Friday 7/22 and have been lightheaded ever since, whilee my my breathing is better I feel almost about the same as I did going in only difference is im not huffing and puffing as much .

When I went in i had a HR of 33 been in the 30's for years they sert it up at 50- 130 and the rate response set to 1 ...castiously as I was I told them not to set it to agressive, as I freaked out when they interogated it and it flew to 85 ... so like youim puzzled and have a call in to see what they think..

I d be curious to see what others Rate response are set to I have a Metronics Adapta dula chamber..

It isn't the number of tweekings. It is whether the Tweekor knows what they are doing.

If I hadn't taken over and specified the settings for mine I would likely still be limited in my activity.

i think 5 adjustments before it was right, that was around a month and half. But I learned to write down what I was doing and what symptoms ie sob, lightheadness, ect..were after the second adjustment. Just a thought, get a pad of paper and pencil and keep with you and write it down, if your like me Id go to doc and forget.

I had my PM installed 7/13 and feel great. I had to go in last week and have it checked due to me being extremely dizzy, but everything was fine. I got busted for getting my heartrate up to 175 when my max set was 150. Told them that's what they get when they won't set it higher like I asked in the beginning. What do they expect when you workout every day... Other than that one time, I never knew this is how I was suppose to feel. I feel like I have caffine running through my body vs. blood! I've lived with Intermidate Complete Heart Block for 31 years (I'm only 33) so I didn't know any different! Hope they get yours figured out soon, so you can feel as great as I do!
