Lead is moving-anyone have this?

Good morning all, got a good chuckle from Don this morning about the plumbing comment.... (by the way i explain my heart condition to people like this "there are two types of heart conditions- plumbing and electrical- mine is electrical"

I have a question please everyone... I have been told that my lead is moving away from its contact point in the heart and will need to be replaced.
First: Has anyone had this (my implant is only a year old)
Second: What symptoms (if any) does anyone have with this?
Third: Have you had the surgery and did it fix it? What was recovery like the second time around? Did they use the same scar to go in? Does the scar get worse after?

Yup lots of questions as I woke up this morning having chest pains after lifting boxes and moving stuff around my apartment over the past two days... and the muscle around my PM feels like it did post implant.. ouch

My daughter has unfortunately experienced this issue twice after 1½ years both times. They call it micro instability or microdislodgement. It is rather uncommon and do not show on xray. We discovered it both times with her feeling dizzy as the ventricular lead could not make enough current to evoke her pulse so she had her own slow pulse at 35/40. They used the same scar the first time but a new one the last time as she had grown in the mean time. She was 10 yr the last time it happened. We are hoping this will not happen again, they have tried to place the lead in the apex instead of the septum this time. We are approaching the 1½ year with this pm and crossing our fingers.
