Cronic A-Vib.

Well It has been a while since my last post, I was trying to locate it... I have a question a year ago Mr Dr implanted a PM 2210 2 wire pace maker and set it for 80. with meds they never
could control the high Rate and a Fib, Well Jan 29th they ablated My AV Node and Im at home being released feb 8th to return to work, My question is the first few days I thought I felt better but I have noticed that my Heart rate stays at 80 no matter what im doing also my Pressure although not real low its 115/60 at times when i was in Cronic a fib and had the fast heart rate 130 pluse I actual could do more, how ever you cant substain life with that kind of constant rate. " Can Any One " tell me if they have the same results and should my pacemaker increase with my activity? I can not bind down to tie my shoes I feel very light headed.. Any way it is what it is no turning back..
Any input.

to answer your 1st commment (question() when you sign in look to the upper right @ members menu & you will see "my commenmts" & I think you'll find the last post.

As to the pulse staying the same no matter what you do, it soundsl ike your rate rtesponse is not turned on. Have you had your device checked in the office yet? Ask about the RR then. I know that when my 2nd PM went into Elective Replacement Time PM shut off my RR & my pulse stayed at 70 to concerve the battery life. And I felt just like you describe. Want to clean the litter box, PM doesn't care, go ahead but with no RR pulse stays @ 70 & got light headed & SOB. Now got #3 with RR on & adjusted, do what U want w/o any problems. Ask your doc about this.

PS to Pete

I have had an AV node ablation also. And I can spell but can't type. Can't blame my PM for my typo's :-)
