PM settings

Where can I get the settings information for my PM. I just had a generator change, and have no idea how the device is set. I have a temporary card and was told the permanent card would be mailed.

PM Settings

Hello Mike,

You will have to ask the Dr, or the person that did the PM calibration. With this being a new implant it is possible the settings were made by a manufacturer's rep. In that case you will probably have to rely on the Dr for the info, as i have found the reps very reluctant to give out information of any kind without an OK from the Dr.

For your info in the future, many of us request a copy of the PM checkup printouts. This will have the settings and lots of other info which can be food for questions at the next checkup. I see you have a Medtronic PM so if a change is made in a settings it will be marked with (>).

Good luck,

Smitty
