Don..glad it went well......

.......Don..'Old Chap'...good that your Box Change went well...you mentioned something about a 2 hour job..??. As you know I'm in for a Box Shift on the 14th Dec and was hoping for a kind of SAS / Seals ..'In / Out '..kind of scenario..like about 30 minutes.

Tell me ..What do I expect ?

Again..good that your New Little Beast has landed in, what in old NASA terms ,is in 'Stable one' position

Ya I was told I would I'd be getting out the same afternoon but my surgeon decided on putting me on vancocin antibiotic IV before surgery & 24 hours later another IV as preventative. Having picked up hospital bug many times & he also had to do quite a bit of clean up of my pocket it probably was warranted. Might mention vancocin is one of the last good antibiotics used to combat hospital bugs. I had a good humorous tale about my hospital stay but got kicked off-line & lost it all. Thanks again for your support & Tat, Hope you have a short (30 minute) stay. Tell your surgeon he's getting paid for the job, not by the hour.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
