Had my 5week check up today. Thanks to all your help with the pacing issues i was having. My doctor shut off the rate response due to these issues. I asked him so i didn't need this on? and he said not sure we can shut it off and see if you feel better without it. I know i don't have the pacing going on - i could tell right away when riding in our pickup which is where i really noticed it. The question i guess i failed to ask is if i do need this on how will i know?? He also mentioned that after i have a blood test done that he may put me on a pill called Mididrine. Is anyone out there on this?? I guess i don't like the side effects i read. Just wondering what others who have been on this think.
My next concern or question to him was that the area where my device is still hurts. He said its only been 5 weeks so i should give it some more time. It's not horribly painful but when i move or touch the area it sort of feels like a burning sensation. like pulling and then burning. Sometimes when i wake up and have been dealing with this while im trying to sleep i think that it will be red and irritated like an infection but its not! Just wondered if anyone has this going on??
Thanks!
Its been so nice to have this forum to get help and suggestions from :)

Feel PM when moving

Hi Aestoekien,
I had my PM put on in Feb 10, 2012 so very similar to you. I could have written your second paragraph, mine is exactly the same. Feel it most the time, and it burns when I'm walking and when it gets pulled even a little. I'm a small woman so I think that's a big part of it. Also, no infection or warmth, etc.
I'm going to check out what you said about the rate response. I just had my slope changed and I respond with an increase in rate faster, it's really helped.
Thanks,
M'Liz
