tiredness after a virus

Hi I am getting over a brochial infection or virus where I coughed and coughed so hard thought my ICD would probanbly pop out of my chest..But, it didnt and im better after
a antibotic and couch sirup but I am so weak...I have cardiomyopathy and I had been doing so well and now I have
no energy and weak....anyone have any ideas how to become
stronger or to help the heart muscle get sorta back to normal
Its like staring all over from the beginning when I had no energy ...any suggestions on something to take or do?

Hi! Anniesu, I am sorry you have been so sick. As you probably know, medications can make you feel weak as well as the illness itself. However, if you are still feeling unusually weak, please consult with your medical care. Several things come to mind, heart and nonheart related. Have an ICD also, second one, and it is amazing how sturdy they are. Just get checked and then, try to do a little more each day. I hope you feel stronger soon. Hopeful Heart
