Feeling rubbish after settings changed?

I've had a Guidant Insignia since 2005 for complete heart block, and am now being monitored for cardiomyopathy. The docs aren't sure whether my pacemaker is the cause of the cardiomyopathy though, and as a trial for the next few months, today they have turned down my pm, from a min of 60bpm, to about half that (not sure of exact figures).
They did warn me that I would lose my 'oomph', and today I've just been feeling pretty rubbish - really quite light-headed and slow, and like I can't really think straight. I certainly don't feel I could drive, for instance, in this foggy state.
I remember it taking a few weeks for my body to acclimatise when I first had my pm implanted, so my question is - how long should this 'rubbish' feeling last (before I decide enough is enough and ask the hospital to change me back again!)?
Thanks. :)

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.

I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.
Can they be sure of outcome?

I'm not sure that is the right thing to do. Do the doctors expect to see an improvement in the cardiomyopathy for the few months they have lowered the rate?
And if I understand they have it turned down to 30? Wow that was when I had a pacemaker put in on an emergency basis. Soooo I know how you must feel.
Didn't they discuss the quality of life with you.
I'm not a big fan of trials of any kind as they are just that - a trial...and for you to be made to feel like rubbish is not acceptable......just saying....
I would have a discussion with doctors of what to expect at end of trial and is it their trial or Guidant's.
Best to you.....
