I am scheduled for replacement of my epicardial pacemaker in 3 weeks, the device in implanted in my abdomen.
However, last night I felt a lot of discomfort similar to when they put the magnet on the site at an interrogation, then my HR went down to 65 and stayed there since. Gosh I feel terrible and still getting chest discomfort too.
Anyone had similar symptoms at this point?
I am waiting for my EP to call back.

Put the pressure on them

There is no excuse for having to feel lousy for 3 weeks just for someones convenience.
When my last one was due I called and let them know I would be camping and hiking in the mountains and couldn't have the pacer going into EOL. Like I told the office,"The EOL might be mine not the pacers". They scheduled my in a few days.
good luck.

That sure sounds like EOL, or end of life. The pm cuts back function to conserve power. It'll keep you safe because it won't let you go lower than your minimum (sounds like 65) but if you are dependent, you won't feel too good because it's no longer going up as needed. Can you move it up and do it sooner?
