3 month follow up

well I started a cardio rehab program, three times during it I almost passed out. so at 3 month follow up no adjustments were made, and a tilt table test scheduled.

Guess it isn't very common to have a tilt table test after already having a pacemaker/icd implant already. Nurse was enjoying not to have to put a 12 lead ekg. on.

well the day of the test, the drive that would normally take 40 mins tops ended up taking right at 2 hours. first bp was done laying down and was 184/101, raised me to standing position. dropped to 121/74, measured in 2 min increments. forget the numbres around the same for the first 4 readings. at 10 mins was going to get Nitroglycerin

at around 9:30 seconds my eye started twitching early sign I am getting ready to feint. bp had dropped to 74/44 and pulse was at 44.

still working to understand what is going on.

so stopping the amlodipine(sp), and my ICD is now also a pacemaker, lower setting to 60 bpm. increase my fluid intake.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
