Resetting Parameters
Hello. I have had this unnerving thuds in my chest off and on for at least a month now. They are not painful and when I check my blood pressure/heart rate everything was normal. No irregular heartbeat detected or anything. I finally called my EP and they said I needed to come in so they can change the parameters of my ICD settings (just had it replaced March 11). Has anyone experienced this? The nurse explained that it was some kind of nerve stimulation that was causing it and they need to try to get it to do it in order to change things.

I have also had these...quite a few on evening I called and went in to the Dr ...That is what they told me also It was a lead to close to the diafram It does feel like a baby
kicking and can catch you off guard when it happens..Sometimes when I lay on my right side it will happen...They have tried to adjust it but it sill happens once in awhile...Also sometimes if feels like my icd is popping out of my chest then in a few hours later it seems to have gone back in place
This is a weird feeling also..Course I dont have much fat
on my shoulder so maybe that is the reason. You can just expest some weird feeling ever so often
You know you're wired when...

I had those a lot...they call them hick ups....they felt like a baby kicking. Mine goes off after I walk. I have 3 leads and one is close to the diagram and that's what makes those annoying moves...I think they can adjust that. Hope that helps.
