I'm getting #5 next week. Nothing to it! Most of the restrictions the first time are because of new leads. Most of the pain first time is from creating the pocket. They usually go in the same place so it's all scar tissue and leads should last through several boxes. Quick and easy! If I get an early appointment, I'm home fixing my own lunch.
For every one person who comes here looking for answers because they had a rare complication, there are thousands out there getting on with their lives.

You will find that getting a new one is very simple and easy. I just received a new one a couple of months ago. I was in at 7 am and home by 12 noon. It was very relaxed and pain-free. They use a light anesthesia with no real side effects.
After the change I promise that you'll be asking yourself what you were nervous about.
Sincerely,
David
