Hello All,
My over flow of the leads are placed on the left side. They pop out and touch my nerves in my arm. ( close to the underarm) Sometimes the pain is extreme to the point of almost passing out. I have a different EP Dr then who did the implant. She does not want to open me up due to infection But if I need it done she will do it. I was thinking of duct tape . ha ha ha ... But I went to a pharmacy and found sports tape and pulled the wires away from my nerves in my arm. It has improved 70 percent. Thought I would post this in case some one else is having issues.

Surgery to recoil leads
by Sparkie - 2015-10-21 04:10:56
I had surgery May 2015 to recoil the leads. The DR recoiled and tethered the leads behind the CRT-D device. It went very well. I no longer wake up in the night in extreme pain. I can use my arm to open and shut doors. Before I could not .. the pain would make me almost pass out. The surgery was definitely worth it. I had it done at VCU. I hope this helps someone who is having the same issues as I had.
Peace !!!
