FIRST SHOCK

My husband had icd fitted last July 2013 and received his first shock four and a half months after device fitted.On day of shock he had 14 episodes of vt throughout the day and it wasn't until the fourth time his defib activated with absolutely no warning.He was just lying still in bed.Has anyone else experienced a shock without warning?tks

Have had 8 of them had ablation and recently NIPS was on anf off anti arrythmic drugs on again had #7-8 while washing dishes would rather turnoff shock and carry prtable defib than live with the anxiety of when. Just my opinion. Good Luck
