Looking for inpiu---Had a Boston Sciencetific pacemaker/defibulator installed on July3, 2014. That night it felt like my heart was going to pop through my chest! Tech came in that morning and saw a probelem and adjusted the device. All was well until I got home. Same problem, I could feel and my wife could see my rib cage rise and fall as I was feeling the effects. 24 hours later the feeling comes and goes and doesn't seem as bad.
Will call surgeon Monday but I am wondering, has anyone else experidenced the same.?

I have a Boston Scientific !CD too, installed 4/2011. I had what I called "hick-ups" in my stomach/chest when I laid on my side. When I went for my 1st 6th month check up I found out that all needed was an adjustment and have been good ever since. I hope this helps you!

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
Ok

I think you are ok. I felt somewhat the same after having mine installed last year. Remember your body has to have time to ajust to having a device in your body that God did'nt intend for you to have. After a period of time some people never even remember that they have pace maker, this is not me i am still sensitve to it even after having it over a year. Still if you think that something is wrong go back to the hospital and let them reassure you.
Thanks and good luck.
