Does anyone have an issue with a dual lead PM feeling when the bottom lead kicks on? Its like getting kicked in the diaphragm when mine kicks on. Is this normal? I just moved and my new cardiologist is trying to tell me its not possible but my old one told me its normal in young adults/children ( I am only 27).

Would not ignore it

By no means am I a doctor but here's my thoughts. I was young as well with the same symptoms you just described. I noticed that sensation right after an adjustment was made to my settings. From that point on things did not get much better for me. Long story short, I ended up having a rare diaphragmatic hernia which required surgery and plenty of recovery time. Then my then only 3 year old device had to be replaced due to batteries shot? When it was being replaced, the Dr replaced my lower lead wire which had come loose and had been shorting out.
Everything since has been great! Just the usual from time to time. Describe your symptons to your Dr and best of luck! It is however very common to have the flutter like sensations from time to time. Any burning and or what might feel like minor electrical shocks do not ignore. Hope this helps
hiccups

I actually hiccup occasionally when my lead kicks in. It stimulates the diaphragm is the reason, I suppose. I definitely think one can feel it but it should not hurt or feel like a shock.

When my ICD was first placed I had problems with feeling it in my abdomen (diaphragm). With some adjustments done at the clinic and a little patience from me they got my settings where I am no longer paced in my abdomen.
