Possible loose wire

For about two weeks, I have been have a tingling from pacemaker to shoulder and up my neck. Now very short of breath, which started about the same time. Getting worse. My primary care person thought maybe congestive heart failure. Four days on lasix and dropped 6 pounds, but still getting worse on shortwindedness.

Hi, if your doctor is considering chf has s/he ordered an echocardiogram? Have you had a chest xray? If you dropped four pounds on lasix, then it must be working to get rid not excess fluid. For some people diuretics like lasix may work better if you lie in bed for 1-2 hours after taking it.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
