tingling feeling over site area
Hi I have a St Jude's ICD. It has been good for first 21/2-3yrs. They had to turn off 1 lead do to noise sensitivity. Now I am getting tingling sensation over site area. Doctor says it is just nerves over the device.

Nerves?

Yes, but due to what?
Could there be an insulation failure stimulating the nerves?
Could you be more aware of the area, getting greater sensation?
Is there anxiety?
As usual, the doctors are right!
Personally, I would get some clarification of "just nerves".

go get an interrogation. any lead issues will show up immediately. St Jude has an alarm mode where the device itself vibrates (that is just the box) Have them trigger that for you so you know what it feels like.
You know you're wired when...
Your device makes you win at the slot machines.

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.

I think its a lead failure ? My tingling sensation is over the device itself. above left breast, to collar bone area and comes and goes. Thanks !!!
