Hi! I have a new CRT-D defibulator pacemaker which was put in place on June 8, 2015. I thought I was doing fine however this morning I hung a shower curtain and now I am having pain in my heart. Maybe just a pulled muscle. I don't go back for check up for 3 months.
Wondering if I should call in? I have no idea what it will feel like to pull the leads off? Could someone shed so light on this. Thank you I greatly appreciate

I agree with Theknotguy and Angry Sparrow: likely scar tissue is involved and to be on the safe side, make the call.
That you were hanging a shower curtain three weeks after your procedure suggests that you were lifting your arms above your head. Hmmm. And possibly lifting something and exerting some effort. Hmmm.
Just sayin'...
You know you're wired when...
You make store alarms beep.

Now you know what it feels like to pull scar tissue.
But seriously, any time you have a bad feeling in the heart area you should call your EP and alert them. No one dies from embarrassment so it's better to be a little embarrassed and alive than not and dead.
You probably pulled scar tissue and now it's reminding you that you shouldn't have done what you did. If you do something like have leads disconnected it will affect your pacing and you would notice that.
A lot more people pull scar tissue than would like to admit. I was throwing the ball for the dog. Hurt like hell and it took me six weeks to get rid of that soreness. Didn't have the pain in the heart area but the muscles in the shoulder really hurt.
Hope everything else is going well for you.
