discomfort

Just had an ICD 'installed' the first of February, 2015. My left arm was slightly swollen and was causing me discomfort as well as my left neck and shoulder. Not as bad now, but will this be a permanent feeling? {I think with the restraints, feeling the 'pain' twice when medicine wore off, I may have pulled a muscle but not sure.}

Is your left arm still swollen? If yes, please see your doctor.

Yes, we all recover differently, but if anything is bothering you or concerning you perhaps you should let a doctor know. Maybe even ask for an ultrasound on the area that is bugging you.

The feeling you describe should NOT be a permanent thing...again you have to advise your doctor.

I know with me it took a good 3 -4 months before I felt "normal" again.
