I've had my dual lead ICD for a year. After 2 months I needed my atrial lead re anchored but since then it's been ok and the device hasn't paced or bumped me.
I've posted here before and received good info and comments. Prior to an episode of Poly VT I did a lot of cycling, swimming and running to a good standard. I'd like to think now about doing them again, perhaps not competitively but in some form. I swim a bit now but across the board I have a latent fear of pushing it. Meaning as soon as my heart starts working and I can feel it I back off. Running scared in other words.
Any similar experiences out there?

You know you're wired when...
Bad hair days can be blamed on your device shorting out.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
Thanks

Thank you, mine is set to 215 but what's getting me is that feeling when the heart starts working. Of course I then panic which sets the adrenalin off. When I've had VT episodes they have come from 110 not necessarily when I'm maxed out at threshold.
