Hello Everyone !
Wish me luck, I have my 2nd pacemaker installed tomorrow. The surgery is at 1 or 1:30. They might keep me over, not sure why. I cannot wait to get this over with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that all goes well for you. I had my 1st PM but in 3 weeks ago and they kept me overnight. I was very glad that they did.

Something small but makes a difference. I never think of being kept over by them. I always consider that I might agree to another night. When the nursing staff talks of releasing me I let them know I am not a prisoner, but will be reasonable if they are willing to discuss the situation with me.

The idea is that I am in control unless I am unconscious (or dead). It is amazing how different the hospital attitude is.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
