Hi
just a few queries....posted a while ago about breathlessness on exertion whether tweaking was required on settings and getting my head around how this works.
My post implant check up is next week and I have more queries....I have upped my walking this week both in pace and distance. I was a bit disappointed to begin to get light headed again while exercising....Is this linked to settings and breathlessness. or can anyone shed some light on their own experiences....
Also, I am experiencing a huge amount of hair loss... This started approx. 2 months prior to pacemaker implant and is continuing to the point of my clothes are covered in hair ongoing...not a good look for a woman....
Thanks again for responses . Trying to have as much info as I can before next week.

My cardiologist is brilliant and after lots of trial and error got me running. I finished this years London Marathon in 3hrs 38 minutes.
response settings

Not an expert but on my PM (dual lead, Boston Sci) it is set to increase rate based upon movement as well as respiration.
This allows my rate to come up while exercising even if I;m not breathing heavily and vie-versa. These settings can be adjusted in terms of on/off as well as rate of response. In addition, your minimum and maximum pacing (via the PM) can be set. All of these will affect how you respond on exertion.
Can't speak to the hair loss.
