New Member - dad has an ICD

Hi, thanks for accepting me.

My dad had a Biotronik ICD fitted Oct '15 after VT was diagnosed. All has gone very well & the medical care he has received here in Spain has been superb.

After a post-op 'systems check' 3 small episodes were detected, so small he didn't notice them. AF was also detected so he is now being trialed for Sintrom - docs are still deciding on the best dose for him.

He doesn't want to know all the ins & outs of the device or the 9 meds he is on. But i need to. He tells the docs - you do you job & I'll do mine by doing exactly what you tell me to.

I hope this site will help me with the many questions I have.
