Had PM implanted Sept 2015. 2nd degree AV block. Ended up in ER and catheterization as they thought I was having a heart attack. No blockage but noticed lower chamber not firing - up to 23 second intervals. Things had been fine until a week ago when starting experiencing same symptoms as prior to PM - short of break, weakness, etc. Progressed quickly to point I ended up in ER. BS rep came in and did interrogation. When she checked the lower chamber something happened and all symptoms went away. Rep said nothing was wrong but I don't think she was being truthful. Didn't get any report but had previously scheduled (before ending up in ER) interrogation for this week. Will they be truthful with me??

That is a very interesting story. I don't want to believe that they would cover-up a problem that was so easily fixed, but under the circumstances it is difficult not to.
I am not one that would normally buy into a conspiracy theory, but the circumstances you outlined make it almost impossible not to. It just seems too coincidental.
Nothing was wrong.............Duh, I am in the ER, because my PM isn't firing...........O.K., then just tell me anything and I'll believe it.

Reps aren't supposed to tell us much, that's for the doctor. Sure sounds like something was going on, but they were able to fix it with the settings. Time to have a chat with your doctor and get some answers.

You have a legal right to obtain and inspect all records regarding your medical treatment. It is important that we remember that our medical team work for us, not the other way around. We pay for a service and have a legal right to see what service(s) have been provided.
Tell your doctor you want to see the records from your ER visit. He/she will almost surely have to refer you to some one within the hospital, but should know who you can contact.
