Just had my pacemaker implanted 6 weeks ago. I'm not worried about my chain saws but I am worried about EMF of my 30 ton log splitter and my gas operated generator. Any comments? ...DonO

Dr. is just allowing me to go back to work so it may be some time before enough exposure is experienced. Thank you for the info. I will get back but it may be a month or so.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
May not be a problem

PJinSC and I are on the lookout for EMF problems. He worked in a power plant with much larger generators. No problems.
You don't say how big your generator is. If it's one of those little generators people use when tailgating, don't see that as a problem. If it's one of those pull behind the truck, it may be a problem.
We've had people with pacemakers working on the diesel/electric locomotives. Those have very large generators. Haven't gotten any bad reports from them.
Have walked within 3 feet of one of those step down transformers they use outside businesses. No problems and those throw off some pretty big EMF fields.
I don't see any problems with the log splitter as far as your pacemaker goes. Obviously you'll want to practice standard safety precautions.
If you do experience problems, back out of the field.
I'd really like to hear your experiences. We always get the questions but no one ever comes back to say what they found out.
Hope everything else is going well for your.
