So I'm a 18 yr old and I had pacemaker surgery done in last Oct. My question is whether in general there is a large degree of 'chances of harm' in learning a professional sports like tennis or swimming, particularly. I can wait for some time, but I really wanna learn and get qualified in some sports.

Thank you so much for the help. I'll ask my doctors about it.

No, there is no chance of harm from no-contact sports like tennis and swimming. Some minimal contact sports like baseball and basketball are also O.K., but a decision on those can be somewhat more subjective. Obviously, football, rugby and boxing would not be O.K.
Life is full of risks and dangers. You just need to make educated decisions based upon your personal tolerance for risk.
Sincerely,
David
