Both myself and my wife have back problems and we just purchased an inversion table. She uses it a couple times a day and I used it one time so far but just wasn't sure about it. First of all I have had my PM for only 5 weeks and did not try putting my arms over my head. I already have dizzy spells when standing so not surprised to have them again when being inclined. But wondering if this is save for me to use at this point, Did it help my back, not sure since I only used it one time...but my wife loves it.

Doctor first

I would check with the doctor before doing this type of activity.
You know you're wired when...
You can finally prove that you have a heart.

I'm a runner, mountain climber, kayaker, snow skier, bicycler and scuba diver. The only activity among those that I'm not yet cleared to do is scuba diving, and when I am cleared, I'll be limited to diving to 50 feet.

Most post op instructions governing the level of permitted activity and range of motion are lifted after 30 days. Doctors vary slightly on this. The PM will not fall out, the main concern is the adhesion of the leads to the heart wall. The scar tissue that helps bond the leads to the heart wall is usually well formed after 30 days. I would be more concerned about the possibility of the tilt table aggravating arrythmias or causing swings in BP causing you to pass out. I suggest going easy with this and consulting with your cardiologist.
