Warning a defibrillator is about to shock, so that you can:

Does anyone know if there is a phone app with a patch (that monitors your heart) you can wear, that informs you when a defibrillator is about to shock? Something that would basically give you 1-15 minutes of warning?  If it existed, would you be interested to use it in order to modify your activities or perhaps take a beta-blocker that could prevent the arrhythmia/therapy from happening?

St. Judes surveyed customers in the past on this very topic and I have yet to see the feature added to their ICD or CRT-D. Why would I want to be warned, so I can bend down stick my head between my legs and kiss my butt goodbye? From my perspective why would I want to be warned?

Yes I've had numerous Jesus Jolts, no biggie. A thump in duration of micro second duration and it's over. More important I've had so many false alarms that I'd probably be a total wreck if everytime my device charged up I received a warning. The number of times my device charged and then did not have to provide therapy is significantly larger than actual therapy, probably in the hundreds for me.
