So I went to the gym today for the first time since I've gotten my pacemaker surgery on May 9th and I did an incline of about 7 with a speed of 2.5 or so and my heart jumped to 200!!! This freaks me out! I'm wandering if this is normal or any advice from anyone or what should I do?

"Call the doctor and have it checked out."
I agree with this advice.
Heart rate and treadmii

I have experienced a similar problem. All seems fine except on the treadmill my heart rate jumps almost immediately from about 70 to about 130. A pulse check indicates that the treadmill reading is about right. I shall try to see my GP shortly.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
Any number of reasons

First of all how do you know? What did you feel. Many HR monitors, including those built into ex machines can sometimes be faked out by the pulses from PM.
You could be having AFIB or other arrhythmia. If so that should be recorded by the PM.
The rate response in the PM might be set too agresive.
Call the doctor and have it checked out.
