I few weeks a go I posted that I was doing a lot of training as I'm about to take part in London to Brighton road cycle 54mi and at the end of big cycles I was getting heart burn, this went on to random palpatations and then yesterday epic fail, running on treadmill and fainted! Sporting a nice chin cut and bruises, turns out that my upper limit was too low and having heart block above the limit caused the epic fail! My lovely Betty (PM pet name) has now had a boost in super power limits so I'm good to exercise, but cardiac consultants said try not to go above 160, which of cause translates to I need a better sports watch ;-) currently I've got a Fitbit alta, looking at getting the Charge HR, but can anyone recommend anything better please? Ideally if I could get something to bleep at 160 would be helpful. Appreciate any suggestions

You know you're wired when...
You have a dymo-powered bike.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!

Hello
I like to keep track of my hr when training and I like
the Polar FT7 it is maybe a bit lowend and it has a chest strap
but it works great for me,very minimale glitching and you can
set limits to bleep when you hit your limit
best of luck with the race
