Hi everyone. My husband received a pacemaker this year and so far things are going smoothly.
Is he allowed to use the Garmin vivosmart HR watch? Will it not interfere with the pacemaker's functioning?

But since I am paced at 100%, there is not much value in the heart rate department. But for counting steps and everything else it is excellent.
Having said that, I don't have any issues with interference, etc.
Love the garmin

great device and I have had no issues. I think the hr numbers track pretty well but I love it for the readability, responsive screen, and great tracking features. I love the dynamic step goal. No issues as all with the pacer.

The Garmin will not interfere with the pacemaker. There is the possibility the pacemaker will interfere with the Garmin, however. Some find the Garmin won't read at all, some find it picks up pacing spikes as well as beats so it's inaccurate, and some use it with no problem. If possible, try before you buy.
