pacemaker adjustm,ents

a new pacemaker implanted 9-27-16, will be interrogated 12-19-16. Numerous episodes of fast heart beats---over 100 bpm. Other times have low heart rates. I feel dizzy, lightheaded. Will adjustments improve pacemaker function?

I would at least phone the tech at the cardiologist office and discuss.

I agree

I agree that you should call the office and advise them you have been having these episodes. It sounds like an adjustment may be in order. You can have it done when they check your PM, but why wait. It just occurred to me; If your doc isn't present when they check your PM, you may not get it adjusted as necessary. My doc isn't always in when they check mine. So it depends upon how your doc and your checks are set up.

So you should call!

Call for sure

I have had my PM since November of 2013. In the early years, adjustments were always an adventure.  I think the first 3 adjustments happened on Fridays and every time I had to call and get back in on Monday to readjust. My advice is to be pushy since you alone bear the consequences of adjustments.
