i do have a question about sleep mode on my Biotroniks pacemaker....
But first off, my PCP did find part of my problem for my constant tiredness - I can now add to my list of many diagnoses - Adnreal Fatigue. My Adrenal Gland is producing the correct amount of Cortisol, but releasing it at the wrong time. My meds are suppose to come Friday and I pray they will help me.
For those who may not remember an earlier post I made about requesting the EP to turn off the CLS, which he did. I just readin the Bionicks manual that when the CLS is turned off the sleep mode is to and must be turned back on. No one has asked me what time I go to sleep or what time I wake up. Whenever I check my pulse it is 60 (bottom number setting). The sleep mode said that the PM bpm are usually set at 10-15 bpm then the bottom settings.
Does anyone else have a sleep mode setting turned on in their pacemaker? If so, is it set below 60? Do you feel that it helps you sleep better?
I go see the EP Wednesday so I was trying to get some answers. I feel so dumb when it comes to this PM.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Thank you Bucky. I actually had my PM inserted the beginning of October. I have been extremely exhausted and sleep about 20 hrs a day. I am hoping it is from the Adrenal Faigue (stress is one of the causes) and not the PM. I have only seen the EP one time and he did some adjustments and I felt great for 3 days. One of my other physicians thinks that all my tiredness is due to cardiac and wanted additional testing. The EP is not the one that put my PM in (it's a long story) so he is basically working backwards. I am having an echocardiogram and stress test Monday, then I will see him Wed. Just in case I have an appt with a different EP the following week. I need my life back.
Hope you get to feeling better too! Merry 🎄Christmas!

I also have a 4 week old biotronik and keep waiting to feel better! I also am exremely fatigued to the point of dizzy. I was told mine does a check every day to see if its working properly. I think this is happening at 11:20 p.m. every night, and it seems to ruin my evening ( I dont go to bed early because I just lay there for hours waiting to fal asleep) Im 64 years old and Ive started getting hot flashes and palpatations, irritability, anxious, after the 11:20 what ever it does! I didnt know about sleep mode? I dont see the pacemaker reps until the end of Jan and my doc til the end of feb. I dont know if time will correct what ever is going on, and I should just wait and see if I get better. I now Im getting impatient to feel better, but after 4 weeks I feel like I should be getting some energy...The only relief I can tell is Im breathing better. Iam illeritate with my new body part and ust dont know what to expect. I was diagnosed with sss and danycardia (sp) and have afib. I have out of town special people wanting to come for Christmas, and I feel I shoud cancell their 3,000 mile trip with my infant grandson. Im just not up to it, and I really thought by now Ide be pretty good to clean and bake a little? Good luck
