PM installed 11/15/16 emergency
Am away from home until April1
first check scheduled for Jan 10,next week
Question. Is there any harm in waiting until April to have this check in my home area rather than away?

The pm was installed because I had heart block, pulse of 37 . I was going to wait to get monitoring remote set up from home...or should I go in and get it started always?
first check up

I just had my first check up. I felt fine and asked for few, if any, adjustments. She said she would need to adjust the battery use as, in B.C. Canada here, they keep the battery use high for the first 6 weeks post-op. and then adjust it down, if possible, at the 6 week appointment. Then the battery life is prolonged. Something you may want to check with your Dr. about. Not sure if a 3 month period for battery life will make much difference tho'.
You know you're wired when...

It made a HUGE difference in my life. Once I got it, I was finally able to run, and ride my bike long distances.

What specific reason was the PM? How are you feeling? Do you have remote monitoring?
If it was something fairly "simple" and you are feeling good, probably not. Speically if you have remote monitoring.
Best to contact your Doctors Office and see what they say.
