I have noticed recently that I am getting short of breath when walking. The feeding is similar to how I felt before I had my pacemaker implant. I noticed on a reasonably strenuous walk up a hill today that my pulse rate was not going above 90bpm and when I use a cross trainer I have difficulty in keeping above 100. I'm a 72 year old male. My implant was made 5 years ago.
Comments appreciated.
Thanks

Thought as much. Rang my Cardio who will see me with a Medtronic tech Monday midday.
Cheers.

Is your battery getting low? In my last one, when it switched to elective replacement mode, rate response turned off so it no longer got my rate up higher when working out.
Sometimes our hearts change over time and the settings need to be adjusted to reflect that. If you aren't currently using rate response, they can turn it on or make it more sensitive so your rate goes higher on exertion.
