Now what? Do I do or should I go?

I had my settings changed today and this evening felt  a sudden feeling of lightheadedness that I hadn't felt since before my surgery. I only felt lightheaded twice before I got my pacemaker. SHould I call the doctor tomorrow? I was supposed to travel with friends for the weekend but now I'm afraid I will have to cancel my trip.

Definitely check with doctor. If your device records events a review of the record may help in setting the PM. 

After receiving my PM, part of trip planning now includes knowing where hospitals are located along my route, wearing a medical ID bracelet with PM info and people I am with knowing how to help me if I have a problem.  If stress is the issue, adding these things to your trip planning may alleviate stress.

Thank you! I truly do not know what I would do without this pacemaker club! Your encouragement and support makes me love you all! 

I decided to go in the trip. I have my new medical if bracelet on and the address of the hospital that would service my Boston Scientific PM if needed. My friends know about the card in my wallet.

and my doctor called and told me to have a good time. And I was already on my way!

My first "trip" was 1 1/2 hours away to NYC for a graduation.  I didn't know what was allowed so I asked "permission" from my doc if it would be ok...lol   I didn't know about this site at the time.
