Hi I recently went in for a box change. Whilst I was in theatre they decided to replace ventricular lead as it had been running at high threshold for two years. They did a venogram which showed enough room to insert but when they tried it wasn't possible. They said that I may have to have stenting prior to replacing it next time. I had an X-ray post procedure which the dr said was fine. However I have this discomfort in my chest and back since. It feels like trapped wind. It seems fine when I am in bed but as soon as I sit up it starts againThe operation site is fine. Has anyone else had this?

Hi everyone, further to my previous post re pain in back and chest post pacemaker. After 5 days at home with ache in my shoulder I went to see GP who immediately sent me to a&e. Chest X-ray showed that I had a collapsed lung. Had a chest drain inserted and now home recovering. So my advice is do not ignore symptoms even if they seem minor.
