Pain is not good

Sorry you're having such a hard time.

There is such a thing as a pain syndrome that Robin describes, but there are sometimes causes that are being overlooked.

If your doctor knew how to help you, he/she probably would have by now. When my arm continued to ache months after surgery for a broken wrist, I went back and back to my orthopedist. I finally realized He. Did. Not. Know. what was wrong. I went to a couple of doctors who just shrugged and then to a DO who took one look and said "You've got a pinched nerve."

When I finally got to a doctor who knew, it was just that easy.

Go to someone else. You might need to go to several. Don't get locked into the pacemaker being the cause of the pain. It might be. It might not. It might be something that happened at the same time as the pacemaker surgery. Or something that was already there, but getting the surgery allowed it to flare up.

Keep asking "What else could it be?" But don't give up. Continue to advocate for yourself.

We're pulling for you.

Pain

I have paid. As well. I have had my pacemaker for 11 months.

I have a single lead, due to low heart rate.

I have pain every morning when I wake up, as well as arm pain and numbness.

My "doctors" have told me its not dangerous and it isn't heart related. I now waiting on a 2nd opinion from a different ep.

Complications have made my life more difficult and I fell worse than before.

Sounds kind of similar.
